PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Commercial Drivers License holders in South Dakota are facing a big change. A new federal regulation is taking effect that requires all CDL drivers to get a medical exam or have their license downgraded. Up until now, South Dakota CDL drivers that stayed within state boundaries weren’t required to get an exam. State licensing facilities will hold events over the next three Saturdays to help drivers get the exams.
