More Diamond Interchanges planned for the Sioux Falls area

South Dakota’s fifth diverging diamond interchange begins construction as another wraps up. A ribbon cutting was held for the I-90 interchange at Brandon to mark its official completion yesterday morning. In the afternoon, groundbreaking was held for the new diverging diamond at 85th street and I-29 serving southern Sioux Falls and Tea. The new intersection design has dramatically reduced accidents in Rapid City and Sioux Falls.
