SD Senate turns down $87-million for broadband expansion

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — “Thanks, but no thanks” seems to be the message from the legislature on 87-million federal dollars for broadband expansion.  The state Senate failed to get a two-thirds majority needed for spending the money.  Supporters are asking for another vote.
