Sioux Falls city financial picture lagging, but solid

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The financial picture for the city of Sioux Falls is improving, but still a bit short of expectations.  City Finance Director Shawn Pritchett presented the 2025 financials to City Councilors Tuesday.  He says sales tax revenues improved by about 2.4-percent last year compared to 2024.  They’re rising, but still short of the 4-percent assumption used for the budget.
