SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A young Sioux Falls man faces 40 years in prison for a crash that left two other teens dead in 2024. Damion Laurelez pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter in the crash that also left five others injured. The vehicle Larelez was driving crashed into a tree and a house in the central part of Sioux Falls at a high rate of speed. The mother of Milana Reeves – who died in the crash – witnessed the sentencing, saying the punishment brought some closure.
