PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota is known for pheasant hunting and shooting sports. Over 15-hundred student athletes are honing their skills in state high school clay target league action this spring. It’s part of the USA Clay Target League, which has active programs in 40 states. The state tournament will be held in June, with top finishers going on to the national championship in July.
