PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol is getting a $150-thousand grant to partner with ICE. The money will cover expenses for the Patrol’s work in a program that has led to more than 200 immigration-related arrests in the state. State officials say the offenders were not only in the country illegally, some were also accused of offenses like murder, assaulting law officers and possessing illegal drugs.
