SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – The Sioux Falls Transit Board is approving free transportation to the polls on election day.
It was one of the issues tackled by the board this week and approved unanimously.
The board is also changing its pink and purple routes to start at 7:30 a.m. to accommodate students by making sure they get to school on time.
The board also reviewed its 22-point-five-million-dollar budget.
They say that ridership has increased three percent year-over-year through the first eight months of 2026.
