I was first introduced to “radio as a job” when I was very young. The Dad of the family that lived next door to us was a radio DJ. However, my sister was more intrigued with the profession than I was at that time. I’ve always loved music, (I’m actually a classically trained vocalist!) and I suppose it was that love of music that led me to the radio biz. In early 2000 I asked a friend, who was a local program director at the time, when he was going to get me a job at the radio station and the rest is history. I haven’t worked in radio for a while, but I am so excited to get back in that saddle with Q101.9!
I’m new to Sioux Falls and I love getting to know the area. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, self-pampering, reading, and staying in touch with my kids.
