PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota is poised to make major improvements in rural health care. The state is receiving 189-million dollars in federal funding as part of the five-year Rural Health Transformation Plan. During his State of the State Address, Governor Larry Rhoden is encouraged legislators to authorize the funds soon, saying the federal government will reward states that move quickly.
