SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A 23-year old Sioux Falls man faces a string of charges related to Road Rage incidents and a wrestling match that ended with a gunshot. No one was struck by the gunfire. Police Information Officer Aaron Benson says it began at about 9:30 Wednesday night near 9th and Van Eps, when Gerard Vanderwalker allegedly stopped outside a home, got into an argument with two residents, and began making threats. Benson says, “The driver approached the men, took out a handgun and pointed it at the men. The men reported that the driver asked them which one of them wanted to die first, as he pointed a handgun at both of them. The driver then struck one of the men in the head with the handgun twice.” That initiated a wrestling match, during which one of the men got the gun away from Vanderwalker, who then got back into his vehicle and left. Officer Benson says Vanderwalker is also accused of pointing a handgun at other motorists along Kiwanis Avenue about an hour earlier.
