Things are heating up in South Dakota’s Republican race for governor. Governor Larry Rhoden says Congressman Dusty Johnson tried to blackmail him to keep him out of the race. He says Johnson warned him through a mutual friend that if he didn’t drop out of the race a super PAC was going to release ads against him in Johnson’s favor. Johnson says, “I never contacted Larry Rhoden. I never told him I had nasty pictures of him – I don’t. I’m not really sure what he means by this blackmail stuff.”
