PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The first contracts for South Dakota’s share of the Rural Health Transformation initiative go to consultants in Sioux Falls, Rapid City and Pierre. The state was awarded $189-million in grants for the first phase of the program. Health Secretary Melissa Magstadt says the awards put support in place to manage large-scale investment in digital health and business management to make the effort efficient and effective.
