New S.D. DCI Chad Mosteller.
PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation has a new leader. Attorney General Marty Jackley appointed Chad Mosteller to the post. He says Mosteller has been with the DCI since 2002, filling many roles. The Attorney General calls him a good fit for the position, “He’s been a field agent, he was in charge training, admin – he has done a fabulous job, and had many years of working with other agencies, which is important to us. We want to have those strong relationships.” Mosteller was sworn in Friday, replacing Dan Satterlee, who has been appointed U-S Marshal for South Dakota by President Trump.
