Feeding South Dakota is in Need of Volunteers

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) – A Feeding South Dakota volunteer-a-thon helped pack food boxes and backpacks for people in need throughout the state.

Nearly 5,000 of the food boxes will be distributed through food pantries for Thanksgiving.

The event was organized as part of Hunger Action Month, which is a nationwide effort to bring awareness to hunger.
