UNDATED (KELO.com) — Public Utilities Commission candidate Frank Kloucek was trying to push the doors open for Friday’s Artificial Intelligence gathering at the school of mines. The discussion featured Senator Mike Rounds and representatives of leading AI developer Anthropic. Kloucek is concerned because attendance was restricted to the campus community. “We need to have complete transparency when we have public meetings of our elected officials. South Dakota Senator Mike Rounds is having a meeting at the School of Mines, and he’s not inviting the public. That’s just plain wrong,” said Kloucek. Kloucek says South Dakotans deserve a chance to ask who benefits from the technology and who pays for it.
