PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota’s revenues are on the rise after several years of running lower than expected. The Legislature’s Appropriations Committee was told Thursday morning that the Sales and Use Tax collections are running 5.6% ahead of last year’s pace. Officials expect the revenues to beat budget estimates of a 5.4% growth rate. The fiscal year ends June 30th.
