SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The June 2nd Primary Election ballot is much longer than normal because local elections have been combined with the state elections. It’s a move intended to increase voter participation in the local elections. This week we’re hearing from the candidates running for Mayor of Sioux Falls. Greg Jamison holds out his years as a state legislator and former city council member as experiences that prepared him for the job, saying, “Sioux Falls deserves a leader who doesn’t need a learning curve. With my eight years on the City Council, and now this is my eighth year as a legislator, the challenges for Sioux Falls are immense. Having a leader who needs a learning curve isn’t acceptable. We’ve got high priorities that we need to address.”
